Creative Explosion!

Skyclad Creations is a belief that everything can be recycled, reused, rescued, and find a new beautiful life as art! I find misfit jewelry pieces, lonely beads, chandelier crystals, wooden pieces; all of them looking for a rebirth! What you see here is what comes when I bring them back to life! From suncatchers to beaded ID lanyards, to jewelry to wooden ornaments and magnets, to colander planters with suncatcher bling! The possibilities just keep multiplying.

My suncatchers came out of an idea for my friend's wedding, suncatchers as unique wedding favors! My first handfasting cord was for the same wedding! While researching and trying to see how to pull the idea of suncatchers together quickly and affordable, I ran across an old chandelier at an estate sale. The crystals were not perfect, but they had character, life, a sense of age and beauty all rolled into one. So now, all my suncatchers come from reclaimed chandelier crystals, the beads to decorate them with come from old jewelry we find at estate sales, garage sales, items friends and family find, rescue and donate to the cause.

With this form of reclaiming and recycling, nearly every item is completely one of a kind. Sometimes I have more to make more of the same design or several ones with small variations. Either way, you will not be walking down the road with something you can find just anywhere that looks the same.

There are some things that won't be recycled that you will find in my shop: handfasting cords, spice mixes, and addicting cowboy candy! They are parts of my soul and history that I love to share with others!

And if by some reason you see something you like, but not in the colors you want? Well, I love doing customs!
